Building Crystal Chip upgrade disc images


5 Simple Steps

1. Download the latest software release package from the official Crystal-Chips website.



2. Extract the files in the software package to a folder.  If you do not have software to extract RAR or ZIP files, you may wish to try WinRAR. 



3. Double-click the "cleanit" MS-DOS batch file.  This will automatically clean out any old builds of the firmware which exist in the current folder.  This should only take a few seconds.




4. Double-click the "makeit" MS-DOS batch file.  This will automatically build the firmware binaries as well as the CC1.0 Upgrade Disc .BIN/CUE file set.  This may take a up to a few minutes, if you have a slower PC.




5. When "makeit.bat" has finished, you will have a new file "cc-upgrade.bin" in your folder.



 That's it, you have built your CC1.0 firmware and a CC1.0 Upgrade Disc Image!
