After a series of 3 prototypes we managed to release the final version of DMS3. We also sourced components with smaller packages to reduce the size of the pcb.
Advanced auto bios check and self configure, for all regions of consoles. Full range of PS2 revisions covered by one model of MOD. Fully flexible internal design allows for further development and custom functionality.
This is a totally safe design and does NOT go beyond safe limits of the PS2 system voltages. We have achieved this through integration of an SMD power regulator IC. Unlike other designs we do not require 5v input or mixed voltage supply. The logical core of our device is supplied 2.5v at a stable rate from the regulator. Power supply is taken from the mainboard as 3.3v, which is safe and constant level.
PS2/PSX mode selection is now simpler and more intuitive.
Pin markings incorporated on the PCB for easier identification. Multi-disc Game and DVD9 compatible. Compatible with older Japanese SCPH-10000 Models and gives these models the same functions newer models enjoy, such as corrected screen position for PSX games and Dev.olution Mode.
